Kalira can be chartered for the challenge of catching the 1000Lb Black Marlin or sport fishing for the Blue and Striped Marlin and also the smaller Black Marlin. The areas fished in pursuit of the Marlin produce exciting Yellow Fin Tuna, Wahoo, Dog Tooth Tuna, Dolphin Fish ( Mahi Mahi ) and many other species.

Tournaments: Fishing Tournaments are a specialty for the Kalira Captain and Crew, if interested get your booking in early to secure the tournament of your choice, Dates can be found in the Calendar of Events.

Sport Fishing: Kalira is also available for extended sport fishing adventures to remote areas, finding and exploring new fishing grounds along the Tropical Northern Coast Line and the Great Barrier Reef as far north as Thursday Island.

Kimberly Cruising: Kalira will be venturing around the top and down to the Kimberly Coast in the coming future and will be available for charter on various sections for remote fishing and cruising enjoyment.

Cairns Great Barrier Reef: In the off season when the fishing has slowed, we will be available for those personalised day trips to explore and enjoy the Great Barrier Reef in comfort and style. These trips can be tailored to suit your every need and cater to suit your desire in food and beverage.
